any of you download internet explorer 7? i just did and i like it alot, takes a little to get used to but you can keep all your windows in tabs instead of separate windows below. also, you can subscribe "feeds" so that you click one button and you can find out stock updates, scores, and news headlines. pretty cool.

Trevor....if you have high speed internet, you will definately see a difference in speed, especially if you add FasterFox to FireFox...here are the links....If you do it, put Fasterfox on turbo...wooohooo!!

http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/

go there and pick the closest server to you , it will tell you your upload and download speed, and I think it will show how fast it is compared to dial up, dsl, cable, t1, etc..

the cnet one says 4425.2kbps...above a t1 connection...t1 connections are usually for businesses that use servers, and t3 is for stuff like google that is nothing but computers.

now I got to get some sleep, but like I said, download Firefox, then use firefox to download Fasterfox. After you get fasterfox, close Firefox, then start it up again...there should be a little fox picture in the lower left corner...right click it , and click on >>options<< set the preset to Turbo-charged, then in the same window, click on fasterfox, make sure that "enable enhanced prefetching" is NOT checked, and if the page load timer is not checked, check it...it shows how long each page takes to load. click OK to shut that window, and surf away, the little timer will be down at the bottom by the little fox and will show how long each page you go to takes to load. the longest mine takes is when I post something here....it can take up to 20 seconds before it posts, but that is ecoustics servers, not my connection

I had downloaded IE 7 a week or so ago and heard about Firefox from Wolfman so I tried it out and it spanks IE. The file isn't that big and it loads up much faster than IE.
