Hi, I have a strange problem when booting up desctop it does'nt matter how many times i try normal start-up i can only boot up after main waup if the pc has not been been unpluged from wall first... HELP!!! ll socket power has been off for 20 minutes or so, it just wont fire
Did you build this PC or was it store-bought? It could very-well be the power supply in the "instant-on" section of the PSU. But most Power Supplies use a simple relay circuit to engage the switching power supply. So my first bet would actually be the motherboard isnt grounding out the relay the way that it is supposed to. You can check it with a multi meter for continuity.
