Gold Member Username: SamijubalPost Number: 3335 Registered: Jul-04 | Click control panel performance and maintence system hardware device manager double click IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers right click the HDs and click properties click advanced settings and make sure it's set to DMA. Complete garbage you need a new PC. |

Gold Member Username: SamijubalPost Number: 3339 Registered: Jul-04 | You don't need a new PC. How many CD/DVD drives do you have? Make sure the burner is DMA too. Some burners will burn poor quality media slow. What brand and speed are the discs? |

Gold Member Username: SamijubalPost Number: 3340 Registered: Jul-04 | Some PCs only allow DMA on the master drive. The burner should be set to master. You can check in device manager. Double click DVD/CD-ROM drives and right click the burner click properties if the location is 0, it's master, if the location is 1, it's slave. |
