I just bought a dell..... Dualcore 3.2GHz processor with 3GB DDR2 SDram, (2) 250GB SATA Harddrives, 256MB Ati Radeon X600 Se w\Hyper Memory. 16x Dual-layer Dvd+RW, wireless card. 3.5floppy(wow)lol.... and thats about it for the main specs i would worry about.... i paid 950$...... did i get a good deal?
It's a good computer, the weakest part would be the video card, ATI's newer chipsets are the X1xxx series, so the x1600, 1800 etc. That said, the x600's still very nice
I don't know if it's a good deal or not, not sure how computer buying in US goes compared to Aus dollar for dollar.
The vid card should hopfully be good enough for counter strike source its all i bought this computer for... i have my 2 other computers for work...and my other for internet
when i custom built a system like it on dell with 1 less harddrive it ended up comoing out to 1,900$ i got this one ffrom refurb, built and not shipped and got 4 year warranty with it.. good enough for CS:S?
