Hello, I have been having graphics issues with some of the new games out (f.e.a.r., thief deadly shadows, etc.) I install the games but when I try to play the games, the graphics are all over the place. I can see parts of the screen fine, but everything else seems like it is either showing the polygon frames behind the characters or the graphics are shooting out in rays. This makes the games unplayable, even with settings set to a minimum. I think maybe a new video card might help and possibly some more ram. No Einstein here!!! Here is what I have in a nutshell:
windows xp (sp2) p4 2.4 asus p4s533 motherboard 512 mb ram radeon 8500/8500LE 128 mb soundblaster live
Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Prices for the items suggested will be even better. Thanks to all.
