Im thinking of switching over totally to linux anyone have experience with it

i am on linus atm it had wondows..wating on microsoft to send new disk..linux is okay almsot no popups almost no viruses..most of that sutt is made for windows.. linux imo is great for a research/schoo lwork computer for research so you dont need to worry about popups or alot of viruses. for use other then reaswerch and business applicatiosn better to go with windows.

linux ussually isnt really user friendly although the new distros look like and act like OS X. but if u want to do any kind of gaming u have to emulate windows. its not really beginner friendly. If u want to try it out partion out 10 gigs or so to linux on your current system and daul boot. that way if u dont like it u delete it and u still have windows.
