Can i use audigy 1 platinum drive with an audigy 2zs?

is this possible?

I have an audigy platinum, and i wanted to upgrade to audigy 2zs, but i wanted to know if it is possible to use the 5.25 drive from the old audigy and just buy the audigy 2zs pci card.
