I need help with my new computer. It isn't super high spec but its definately very good.
I try playing the sims 1 which you dont need a powerful computer for at all and it loads fine. Then the speakers (creative p5800) go into this uncontrollable squeky crackle. Then the game will suddenly come to a halt and the screen goes blank leaving me with the only choice to turn my computer off with the main cpu button. Does anyone know why my new computer is doing this, my old one never did it and I used that for 5 years.

Specs of new computer;
Graphics card=ge-force 4 onboard shared memory whatever that means?
Soundcard=realtec 98. I used the 3 ports in the soundcard to upmix my 5.1 speakers so they all worked.
Processor-AMD Sempron 3100+ (1.8ghz, 1.6ghz fsb)

Please help anyone, it'll be greatly appreciated.
