I just moved into my new house and ran 12 gauge speaker wire in the family room. I connected the Bose Lifestyle 12 system using an RCA adaptor to connect the raw ends of the speaker wire to the sub.
When I play something, the sound tends to fade in and out. If I connect the supplied Bose speaker wire, everything is fine.
