Hey everyone.
I have a problem with the remote control for my BOSE Lifestyle 20. It works, but the signal is too weak - it works only within one metar distance from the device.
I have the service manual, but the copy of circuit diagram for remote control is not readable.
Can anybody send me the readable scheme, and also, if somebody had the similar problem, can you advise me how to fix it. Thanks in advance

Well, I don't have any schematics, but here's a picture of the component likely causing the issue (picture) 115-039306378108.jpg. Your issue is likely the RALTRON 27.415-30 antenna. I have a broken RC-20 remote and when shook, there's a rattling sound coming from that component. The part costs around $7 around eBay and should be fairly easy to replace if you have a soldering iron. In fact, buying a soldering iron and this part should be cheaper than buying a replacement remote!

The previous image is from a project analyzing a Bose RC-9 remote. This project goes into great detail about the RC-9 remote which seems to share a lot of components with other RC remotes from my experience.
