I recently bought a Sony LCD TV with 2 x RCA output's for audio at the back as well as a headphone socket (the cable looks like a headphone cable).
My sound system has a few connectors at the back... stereo1, stereo2, stereo3, coax and optical.
We also have a Sky+ box which has a optical audio out connector... and again two RCA outputs.
I know this sounds stupid but I have no clue and I dont want to buy cables left and right that will end up not being used...
What is the best way to connect these devices together?
I want to be able to output all sound in the best possible quality to the sound system (logitec).. does all the audio need to come from the TV or can it come from the Sky box??? Which connector should I use?
Below are screenshot of manual that came with tv and sound system:
you need to find a way to make or purchase a switching box which has one set of inputs and other for outputs. if it would be digitally switched then it would be the best that you could choose. this should solve your delima
