My house was pre wired for surround sound by a company that's been in business for less than 5 years. I called the company to complain because I paid to have them install a subwoofer cable for my sub, which I have not bought yet, however, instead they put a regular coaxial cable. In other words, it is the same cable that I use for receiving cable tv from my local Time Warner Cable company. This home theater company I complained to told me to buy an adapter for each end of the coaxial cabe, this way one end will plug into the receiever and the other end will plug into the sub itself. Will this work?
