As for how much to spend, In the past, I used to believe that you had to spend lots of money for good cables. I have purchased cables costing over 100 dollars each, and I have bought some costing 20 dollars. To be honest with you, I cannot tell the difference. However, I would not buy the cheapest ones you can find. The things to look for in an affordable cable are good construction, heavy insulation to protect against interference, larger conductors and tight fitting connectors for less signal loss, and connectors that are gold plated for corrosion resistance. I recently bought some component and RCA cables from http://www.knukonceptz.com/index.cfm and they work great. |
