JLau800 Unregistered guest | Has anyone installed a wired link that recieves and sends IR signals? This item recieves an everyday wireless remote control signal, transmits it by wire (through a wall, solid furniture door, etc.) to an attached transmitter, that then faces and transmits the signal to the respective component. I have plans to build an AV cabinet that complete hides all of my AV components, and have the understanding that items like this exist. Any ideas, links, or alternate ideas are appreciated. |

barry0978 Unregistered guest | If you have a pronto remote you could use the Philips RFX6500 remote extender. Or RTI has this as well. You could check out www.digitalhsolutions.com they have the rfx5000 for $149, cheapest I found, plus they carry the rti line as well. |
