I pre-wired my home with 14 gauge wires. However, my Bose Acoustimass Base Module System uses RCA jacks instead of regular speaker wire. How can I use my pre-wires to connect to my Bose system? Is there a way to change 14 gauge speaker wire into RCA jack? Please help.

You can go to Radio Shack and get the plugs. Tell them what you are planning on doing and they can point you in the right direction.

I seem to have gone the same route in regards to wiring. Will I notice any difference in the quality of sound by using the jacks?

I have the same problem. I am going to Radioshack to pick up those adapters.

This is what you need:
24' Phono Plug to Tinned Wire

Actually I want to update my previous post.

If you have the Bose Acoustimass system, you can call Bose directly to get an free 6-RCA to bare speaker wire adapter. I just received mine today.
