2 gig card formatted in camera.Used for about 100 photos.Suddenly, when playback is attempted, camera reads "no image".Placed in photo mode, camera reads "memory card full". Camera has been eliminated as culprit by usage of additional cards.Compatible printer will also not read card. Can images on card be salvaged?

I am not familiar with those brands, however, there are programs out there that can recover lost or corrupted files in the memory card. They are not cheap though...do a search on "memory card recovery" and you will hit a lot of services that do such a thing.

The reason I ask about the brand is because if you use Sandisk or Lexar, they have a free recovery service, and it works rather well.

That is excellent info to have at hand for making SD card purchases. Thanks a lot.
