A month ago I got my Acer Laptop back from service, the harddive was crashed about a month ealier...
Now the DVD-writer is taking forever, about 1,5-2h for burning a single DVD, and that is only the burning process, not conversion.
Ive read other threads in here talking bout the DMA/PIO...but i dont get it. Ive been to the device manager and the Primary is set to ulitmate DMA and using it, the Secondary is set to DMA when avalible but it is using PIO, how do I change that? And does it matter what the secondary is set to?
Also had look at Bios but i have no options there , i cant change sh*t...
Also had a look at the priority on the CD/DVD in device manager but there was no such option...
Anyone who could help me out, this sh*t is driving me mad...
