ok guys im upgrading my PC... and im buying thie MOBO http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...N82E16813136168 ok and i recently as in like in the past year bough ta 700watt PSU but the CPU power connector on it is only 6 pin.. this board has an 8 pin on it.. will my PSU work wiht this board??

ya the link don't work please tell the model number of both the power supply and the board or another link. but as far as I know they won't work togather.

Look here near the bottom of the page, see the adapter that connects to two regular four pin molex connectors and then creates the 8 pin you need? This can be a pain because it uses up two of your regular power connectors and you should also make sure each is connected to a different 12v line for saftey.


Incidentally for the other guys, just because the link didn't work doesn't mean the part number would not run in a Newegg search.
