I have an older PC with onboard USB 1.1...I went out and got a cheap 4 port USB 2.0 card that installed in windows as "ali PCI usb 2.0 controller" Problem is it will only work with simple devices such as USB mouse, keyboard or game controllers. More complex devices such as Ipod, Digital camera, and my wireless USB adapter do not function correctly. When i plug them in widows says it recognized it and states its functioning correctly, but my ipod makes the computer feeze up and it gives me errors, digital camera's pictures are complelty corrupted and nearly unreadable and wireless USB adapter simply fails to start when i hit "connect". All these devices work fine when plugged into my old USB 1.1 (at reduced speed) As i already said, things like my USB mouse and keyboard work fine on the card just not bigger devices. I have tried uninstalling and updating drivers several times. I have the latest driver from the makers website. There are no conflicts in device manager. I have winXP sp2, computer is a Pentium 3 900 mhz...somebody told me my motherboard might not support usb 2.0...is that a possibility?

thanks in advance for any response....
