im loking to get a laptop for under 1500$ and am just wondering if i should go dell hp or compaq-- with either amd or pentium. personalyl im an amd person but how are the pentium's especially the M series. Also a gb of ram isnt really necassary fro a laptop is it? i know my desktop basically requires it but 512 mb do it?
i am kind of a compaq fan but becasue hp is compaq now are they basically the same but compaq lower priced becasue ur not buying the name? dell is juts a very popular company and im not sure if hsould follow the band wagon? any hints please help-- this comp will be a basic messanging/ word procesor/ video editing viewing and lower end requirements gaming machine
