I'm purchasing a laptop soon and want to make sure that I can connect it to a external TV. I just transferred over my karaoke business from CDG to mp3. What feature do I need on a laptop to do this?
S-video out is preferred, but not all televisions support it. The best thing to do is to convert it to a composite (standard yellow RCA) out jack via PC card. There are also some laptops that have composite video jacks as standard equipment.
A laptop representative at any electronics store should be able to direct you to specific models and possibly give better advice, heh.
