The ban hammer comes down and everybody scatters, but eventually come back. In the sub section we're talking about a year long downfall of interest. Key members don't post anymore or are gone for good. The home audio section is a stable horse and while it doesn't boast the traffic of other areas it has reliably held its' ground. I have noticed in the sat section that it has about dwindled to just a trickle. A few members keep C/Ping articles as new threads to keep it alive but as a whole it has dropped off the charts. |

I graduated this past December and got a job working as an Industrial Engineer for a fairly large aluminum foundry. The reason I have been gone is a little over a year ago I had to make a few changes in my living situation which required me to move in with my uncle, who did not have internet. So I was absent from the forums for a while. The day I moved back to where I was living (with internet) my damn computer crashed!!! I couldn't even get on E at school because they had it blocked for some reason. So I was gone from the forums for even longer. I still don't have a computer of my own but I can post from work every now and then when the boss is in a meeting. Anyway…. What's up with you man? Still got the XXX? Man I'm ready to go home. |

I remember getting food poisoning on my honeymoon. I had the runs for 4 days. I lost a ton of weight as well. What's important is to keep replacing those fluids. The weight you lost was mostly water and it'll pack back on just as quickly after your body rids itself of the bug. Mine came from undercooked prime rib. Until then keep your diet bland and drink, drink, drink. Some say children's pedialyte is best. |

Post Number: 16901 Registered: Jul-05 | yea man it was pretty bad - by far worst sickness i ever had sunday was the worst , so many trips to the throne but today the stool began to get back a bit more solid so thats a good sign never drank so much darnn gatorade which i never really fancied but ppl say the electrolytes in it is good for me trying to keep eating like normal with some good solid non spicy food no more eating food thats been sitting for me - my new rule is soon as its done cooked & cooled i will put it in the fridge & reheat later when needed feeling better today but im still a bit weak so i guess a couple more days of rest for me , gets boring either watching tv or sleeping but thats pretty much all i can do til i get well .... |

Stupid appendix. So yeah, worst pain I have EVER experienced in my life. I had to have a catheter. I had heard of them, they sounded quite unpleasant, I was under the impression they always put them in during surgery while you were under. I was completely awake for mine. I am still ashamed of the things that came out of my mouth for that minute or two. And when it was over with (after the pain subsided a bit) I realized something odd, ........ I had a piece of hospital bed sheet clenched in each hand. |
