Im wonderin if this amp http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?sku_id=0665000FS10074473&catid=1 1031&logon=&langid=EN will be too much to run my Infinity reference 300W RMS 1200 max subwoofer. if its too much power would this one be sufficient enough to run it? http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0665000F S10059654&catid=

uhm... as far as i know, that sub is SCV 4 ohm, and both of those amps are overrated, and very poor quality...

Look into Phoenix Gold Xenon 400.1

so what ur sayin is that even the 600W MTX wont be able to power it well? i dont need anything to great i just want it to hit those "lows" nice

That sub is not for bump it is for SQ.

OK so do i need to tune a ported box for it? just explain to me what i need to do remember i dont want nething too loud i just want it to hit hard. and sound as good as i can get it without spendin too too much

Too late i already got it but i do have a 2 year warranty so i might be able to take it back to future shop n get a better one but what would you suggest

Oh yeah they'll only give me store credit so i have to use that at future shop i think it will be like close to 200 an im willing to put like 100-150 more into it
