mite be the nicest, friendlist, most informative forum ive ever been on...
i just joined a car forum to learn about some cars and get some reviews from people with GTi's and the first guy replied back basically saying "your an idiot and your spoiled" he had over 8k posts...i was like what the f-ck and thought no one on this forum would rip on a noob when he asked a question, maybe laugh, but not imediatly rip unless he was provoked...this never happened when i joined this forum...i just had to make this public...
Yanks, this IS a good forum and one I hope to post on for a long time. The difference is the pool of members. EVERY community has its' good/bad apples. I'm a member on a solar energy forum where I'm mostly scared sh!tless to post because of all the "advanced" members who only want to chat with each other on their own "level". With persistance I was able to gather enough info from a few members to help my "project". Ecoustics is different imo because there are so many different kinds of ppl here with so many different interests who were all noobies themselves once. There are exceptions of course. I remember asking a simple question here once about an amp and was blasted by a member who only hangs out in his little neck of the woods. I felt like I was invading and just never posted there again. On the brighter side, you've got some 15 year old members here learning from 40 year olds and visa versa. Where else are you gonna find that???!!!
