I have a G4 MX440 with svideo out. I hooked it all up and it works fine. I can see everything I am doing on my TV, but when I play avi files the media player is blacked out. Any suggestison?
You need the right codecs. I suggest FFDshow, or if you can still find it for free, the kazaa-lite codec pack. The original site is now charging for it, but I'm sure you can find it out there somewhere.
can u see the video on the monitor? if you cant that means you need the codec try divx or xvid ther r others to if u get gspot it will let you know wich one u need. if u see the video on the monitor but not on the tv then it is from the video card setting.
