Mobile phone PCB makers Wootion, WUS, Unitech Unimicron made strong profit in May. The leader Unimicron stressed orders from mobile phone earlier than expected.
Those five are big and important PCB makers in Taiwan, who have s higher revenue in May than in April. Unimicron's revenue had broken the history, besides Wootion & WUS created another new high over the last 17 month. It's the same with Unitech over the last 8 month.
According to Unitech, orders from smart phone show strong growth, which is expected to increase by month 2Q10 and have a 25% higher than 1Q10. Especially HDI above 3/4 layer accounted for 25%, which contributes to raise gross rate and turn the loss to profit at this quarter.
While Wootion said orders from mobilephone show strong. Although the shipment is limited recently, the company has already reformed the structure and system to improve efficiency. As the end of reformation is coming, the performance will appear quickly.
