Remember when liberals were wringing their hands and accusing President George W. Bush of being a dictator and a king? Of course, that was breathtakingly absurd, but what's really ironic is that these people actually want a king, provided they get to pick him. As Barack Obama feverishly presses forward with his socialist agenda, one wonders whether any act of executive overreaching might cause the compliant, nay, conspiratorial Democratic congressional majorities to pause or, better yet, to resist. I think not. Every assault Obama inflicts on the budget is met by Congress with: "Thank you, sir. May I have another?"

Everybody knew going in that the next president was about to inherit the worst economic disaster a president could face. I didn't believe his direction would work months ago and maybe Obama is moving at a speed he promised but should take some time to evaluate the situation before pulling the trigger on billions of $$ that is already vanishing into thin air. Bush may have been the worst prez in history and the quick and shady deals involving the bank bailout will go down as probably the quickest and most costly mistake ever pushed through by an elected official. Billions of $$ without ANY accountability??? Who does this? So what happened was what would happen when you essentially put a ton of money in a room filled with career criminals, close the door and open a window for them. No questions asked.

HELLO!!!! You're trusting the fate of America's economic future to the same crooks who put us in the peril we're in????????

Talk about putting your king in front of your pawns.

Oh, and don't mind the ads all over the place asking if you've received your stimulus checks. They've already been cashed, just not by you or I.

So what? Pull your head out of your @ss. The church must have been sodomizing you with it for a while now eh? You're hella brainwashed, man. Try thinking for yourself. Some dude coppin' a feel on another dude doesn't affect you.

Not my thing but I don't give a d@mn what other people do in their bedrooms.

A little rude I know but whatever. It's painful to see another person so deluded. And why you feel so compelled to share your delusion with mucho threads, I don't think I could understand.

Cam, you may feel that he has no right to judge Barney Frank because he is g4y, but this is an open forum and he can do as he pleases, just like you.

Anyways, If anyone is going to judge Bush for the bailout bill he passed then point the finger at Barack as well considering he passed another bill worth hundreds of billions of dollars. It's ridiculous. None of these "bailouts" are going to help the economy and that should be plain to see! I mean, what got us here in the first place? Well, if you don't know, it was largely due to people borrowing money that they could not afford to pay back. Hmm, sounds familiar huh? In this MASSIVE deficit what is the point in the UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT borrowing money from ourselves that we can't afford to pay back? /rant

I know you've heard it.....

A man was gazing out his rear window one day watching some birds in his backyard tree. "I think I will do something kind and put a feeder out for them" he thought to himself. Soon the birds flourished and enjoyed the seed in his feeder more and more each day. It wasn't long before the man had to put a second feeder up due to the ever increasing number of birds looking for food. Twice a day he had to fill them until finally he ran out of food and could no longer fill the feeders. As he looks around his backyard he sees the destruction all the birds have done. Bird droppings everywhere! Due to the lack of food the birds eventually moved on leaving the thoughtful man with his messy backyard.

Moral? You can be kind and thoughtful of creatures around you but you HAVE to be responsible about it when you do. If not you'll be left with nothing but a yard full of sh1t.

And I don't consider the birds in the story as the American ppl. In light of the recent bailouts the birds are in fact the CEOs and bank officials of our country. They'll gobble up every seed you throw at them, sh1t on you and fly away. The American ppl are the ones who will be cleaning it up.

You can give a man a fish, and he will eat for a day.
If you teach a man to fish, don't expect him to be at work on warm days.

It has just been reported that the head gardener at The White House has been dismissed after 28 years of loyal service to many US presidents. When interviewed, the gardener protested his innocence and said, "All I did was go into the Oval Office and ask, 'Has anyone seen the spade and hoe?'"

what fucked up is none of these bail out sh;t does anything for small business. something like 7 out of 10 people are employed by small business so these bail outs are only helping 30% of the people of the people if that, what the rest get stuck paying for it.
