iight so i was talkin to yanks and i think im going to do this, i mite do this, im thinkin bout takin my rear 6 x 9's out and cuttin the hole bigger and puttin some 8's in there for some mid bass, what all exactly would i have to do thanks d-money
hmm how would that do for some mid-bass, also wut i was tryin to get at is have it soundin with out the subs lik a got a pretty nice some what system in there, then kids wanna bass off or w.e then i turn on the subs and there mouth jus drops, also whats the SQ for those i know ED was sellin it for 5 dollars so cant be too good but yea how is it
Well...since you're so set on doing it...just cut out the holes to use as a baffle from where the 6x9s were and build a little box under the baffle out of 1/2'' thick MDF. It's going to sound like sh1t. Especially with those ED 8s. You also have to realize that you're putting those sh1t speakers up against some really loud 15s that are going to be given lots of power. It doesn't make sense to do what you're doing but go for it.
