Lincoln and Kennedy

Here's a little part of US history which makes you go h-m-m-m:
Have a history teacher explain this if they can?

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.
Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.
The names Lincoln and Kennedy each contain seven letters.
Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.
Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head.
Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's secretary was named Lincoln.
Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners.
Both successors were named Johnson.
Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.
John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born! in 1839. I was corrected on this and he was born on 1838
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.
Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.
Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Kennedy.' I was corrected on this and the theater was named Ford at the time of the assassination. Thanks H.!
Kennedy was shot in a car called 'Lincoln.'
Booth ran from the theater and was caught in a warehouse.
Oswald ran from a warehouse and was caught in a theater.
Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.
And here's the kicker...
A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland.
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.

Interesting Fact about the Pope John Paul II death

Pope was living 85 years - sum of those numbers = 13

Pope died on 2.04.2005 - sum of those numbers = 13

Pope died at 21.37 - again - sum is equal.... 13

13...that's Maria's number - only that time Holy Mother was showing herself to 3 children in Fatima

on 13th May 1981 - Pope was wounded and that time was saved by Holy Mother

on 13th Pope went to the hospital for the first time

on 13th died the last child of three from Fatima to whom Holy Mother showed up

Pope died on 02.04.2005 at 21.37.. add all those numbers....

2+4+2+5 = 13

2+1+3+7 = 13

13+13=26

26 years of pontificate......

Coincidence? or it had to be like this?

in the end......he died in 13th week of the year...and when you multiply the time of his death 21 x 37...you will have 777

Pope was living exactly 31 thousands days...if you reverse

figures...you will get again 13!!!

Argentina last won the world cup in 1986. Before that they won it in 1978. Add 1978 and 1986, it equals 3964.

A mantis breeder has assured me that you preying mantis can copulate with the male's head still attached, even several times.

The flea can jump 350 times its body length. For a human, that would be equivalent to jumping the length of a football field.

The catfish has over 27,000 taste buds. (What could be so tasty on the bottom of a pond?)

Some lions mate over 50 times a day. (I still want to be a pig in my next life...quality over quantity)

Butterflies taste with their feet. (Something I always wanted to know.)

The strongest muscle in the body is the tongue. (Hmmmmmm........won't go there.)

Right-handed people live, on average, nine years longer than left-handed people. (If you're ambidextrous, do you split the difference?)

Elephants are the only animals that cannot jump. (OK, so that would be a good thing....)

A cat's urine glows under a black light. (I wonder who was paid to figure that out.)

An ostrich's eye is bigger than its brain. (I know some people like that.)

Starfish have no brains. (I know some people like that too.)

Polar bears are left-handed. (If they switch, they'll live a lot longer.)

Humans and dolphins are the only species that have sex for pleasure. (What about that pig??)

Lol sure I'll explain. The extremely high pressures at the bottom of the ocean raise the boiling point of the water and keep it a liquid even at high temps, like in the core of the earth...where metal that should be a gas is a solid/liquid.

Yeah, so the 700-800 F water DOES have different properties than regualar lower temp water. It's not really water anymore at that point. Physics Physics Physics...

I read that the average cloud can hold up to anywhere around 65.000 tons of water! Now if that where to come down on you in a square one metre I'd say you'd be rather messed up!

Some of these "facts" are debatable. How many of those that you posted did you actually check out, Paul? btw, I didn't read them all, but

The egg came first.

????and how is this known?
IF you believe in evolution, I can see that, some other bird evolved into a chicken...but if you believe in creation, God created the animals, so the chicken would have been first, not the egg.
and even with evolution>IF evolution were true, why are there now new species evolving out of other species today? I say that evolution is wrong, or else new animals would still be evolving from older ones.

BARNEY IS THE ANTICHRIST...if you take all the letters in the words HUGE PURPLE DINOSAUR, change the U's to V's,>>>HVGE PVPRLE DINOSAVR<< THEN use only the letters that are the same as Roman numbers, like the V=5, add them all to gether, and you get 666

There are 1000 calories in a food calorie.

In spite of the fact that they had proven battleships were obsolete with the attacks on Pearl Harbor and attacks on British warships near Singapore, the Japanese still firmly believed they were the principal warship of a battle fleet.

It is believed that the most devastating bombing on record in any war did not include an atomic bomb. It was the firebombing of Tokyo on March 9, 1945, which killed no less than 80000 and with many estimates well over 100000.

Horsies are indeed pretty.

Andre is indeed correct regarding water. Look up what a triple point curve is.

There is no scientific evidence that we only use 10% or less of our brains.

There are officially 5 oceans, and this change occurred roughly in the year 2000.

There are officially 8 planets. Poor poor Pluto.

I piss with morning wood regularly. You do have a valve that will shut off the urine flow so semen can flow though, but it isn't always on when you happen to be randomly hard. Of course some people have defects with the valve, and can still piss when they're doing the deed.
