Hi, i was looking for suggestions on a new cound card for my Mac g4. I currently have a home audio set up with an NAD Integrated amp and a pair of B&W 602 speakers. I am wanting to use my computers cd player as my primary player, as well as using itunes to play mny of my recorded mp3s and AIFF files.

I was wondering what a good (or the best) sound card would be for this application - no use fo rpersonal recording, only for listening. I have upward of $250 to spend, but if this can be done for significantly cheaper, let me know. Thanks!

Hi, from what I have read M-audio's Revolution 7.1 works on pc's and macs. The card sounds great when used for music listening, several review sites say it sounds better than the audigy2. But not as good for gaming. Probably the best in its pricerange.
This card is under a $100. Good Luck.
