Posted on Friday, March 30, 2007 - 13:20 GMT There are lots of power supplies over 400 watts if that is what you mean. As for how many fans you can add, it depends on the case. I personally think more than two case fans are a waste in most areas. If you are extremely concerned about cooling, look at something like Lian Li and couple it with a good power supply from Enermax or Antec. |

Posted on Monday, August 04, 2008 - 15:05 GMT look at a quality case from a company like Lian Li. they generally take something like two 80mm fans in front, one 80mm exhaust fan, plus the power supply of your choosing. My personal choice right now is the Enermax Modu82+ power supply. That is if you go with a typical mid-tower case regarding the cooling. I'm using a Lian Li PC12 (older model) Alu case now, as well as a CalPC small server cube which takes three 120mm fans. twi stacked front, one rear. If you do want multiple cooling fans in the case, also consider a decent fanbus to control fan speeds. the more fans you have, the more noise the PC will generate. |
