I have an t2042 emachines home desktop computer, and recently it just stopped working. Anything internet related wont work. Everything else works. Does anybody know how to fix this?
1. Check if any plugs are loose 2. Check the device manage to see if your network card driver is correctly installed or modem driver depending on how you access the internet 3. open up the command prompt (start Menu -> run -> type "cmd" (winXP) --> "type ipconfig" (without the quotes) to see if you have an ip address. 4. If you have an ip address (ex.24.43.34.53) then check your browser settings.
