Computer doesnt boot up

B4 it was my power supply it wouldnt power up now it powers up but thats it the lights will be soild for about 2min and the red light will go away and nothing will load up on screen. THen if i turn power from the back of the power supply it will boot up asking me to set cpu speed because i installed a new chip:S then when i save settings in bios same problem if i do that few times it ends up working.

make sure you do this first!

disconenct everything u dont need.

such as usb ports, pci cards, cd rom drives etc

then see what happens.

if it works, then plug everything thing back 1 by 1 and diagnose the problem!
