I am trying to do something very simple but am not sure if it can be done or whether I need any special software.
I want to plug my CD into the input on my sound card and here it "live" or "monitored" on my PC? I then want to use some graphic equalisation software to change the sound and then feed out through external speakers. I know how to do this last bit.
Problem is that whilst I know the PC is receiving the signal cos Soundforge can hear it and record ... I am getting no sound through the speakers as normal.
Is there a check box anywhere or a part of XP that will allow me to do this? ... not bothered about latency by the way.
Dave. You want to plug in the cd? If you have a cd player you can connect it directly to your soundcard if your soundcard is good enough. What soundcard do you have? To connect your soundcard to the cd player, you'll just need some interconnects.
