hi can i use dvi to component cable on a 8800gt?

ive heard its makes problems on nvidia card...

if not is there maybe a software that can make it possible for the tv to recognie the graphic card output?

its actually should be somthing like the software that lies inside these converter boxes on online shops...

I've seen cards come with svid to component output adapter plugs, but not DVI to component.

Your best bet is a TV with VGA input or go DVI to HDMI on the card and go HDMI to the TV for 1080P resolution.
