When I looked at Ebay for HDMI cables, I was inundated with the same black cable with gold plated ends. Hundreds of them! And cheap as Borscht. 10 bucks will land ya one. Funny thing is that when I bought my Oppo 971, they gave me one of these HDMI/DVI black & gold wonders with the awesome machine. Do they expect you to upgrade or are they saying that cheap is okay. One could say that about almost every manafacturer that makes big bad amps or receivers and then supplies you with a computer power cord. Okay that one I know the answer for but this HDMI thing has me. As always,any advice or help will be greatly appreciated.
The cables that come with with dvd players,tvs are just there in case you dont have extra rca cables laying around. They cut it but its not the best picture/sound
