2015 BMW i8 Test Drive Ends in Crash

We got our hands on a 2015 BMW i8 hybrid electric supercar. This $150,000 exotic sports car arrived in crystal white pearl effect with blue highlights, and it looked absolutely amazing. You won’t find a more head turning automobile this year.

The coupe has scissor doors, which essentially open up. That looks cool, but it certainly makes getting in and out a little awkward. It’s a tight squeeze for anyone over six feet tall to get in, but it is possible. Once you get wedged into the seat tall people will have enough headroom to actually drive. There is something called a backseat in this ultimate driving machine, but usable by a grand total of nobody.

Before I could test anything else, we sent out Mimi and Grace with a GoPro-style action camera called the Pyle eXpo to give us their thoughts. As you’ll see in the video, they don’t get very far on an electric charge. The battery-only mode range is just 15 miles, otherwise you’ll be guzzling gas at 28 MPG. But if you use both electric and gas together the car is rated at 76 MPG.

Now if you watched the video you’ll see Mimi and Grace had a lot of fun, but took a tumble. I am happy to report both girls were a little shaken, but OK. They’re ready to test another vehicle. Any takers?

That was incredibly difficult to watch, and I think part of my brain killed itself to avoid the suffering that these 2 ladies induce

Retards! BMW should sue them for hurting the brand. Did they think it
was cute to scream and behave like stupid fools on video? and destroying
such a nice and expensive car makes me really sick. Please just take away their driver license and be done with it!

in europe we would never let an inappropriate clip get this far. It was done clearly to wreck the image of a company by reason of two facts. First, the short distance it is supposed to reach and the secondly it’s to fast to be handled – at least by fools of some sort…

Can’t unwatch this! Can we connect their screams to some type of electric generator, then they’d have power for days!

This video is definitely making a point out of a car that doesn’t deliver a very usable EV range. The 15 miles is a joke in comparison with a Tesla Model S.
And while I love the looks of the BMW i8, it fails on everything else against Model S P85D. These two girls would get a total shock if they test drove the P85D with much faster acceleration (0-60 in 3.2 seconds vs. BMW’s 4.6 seconds) and many times longer EV range (250 miles against BMW’s perhaps 15 miles).
And Model S is also much cheaper 🙂

It’s not a EV. It’s a hybrid. There’s a huge difference. You are comparing apples with pears. And yes it drives 15+ miles if you drive it purely on the electric engine, but the car is’nt designed to be used like that. The electric engine is to boost the car during acceleration to relief the combustion engine. Hence giving it an average use of (liters/KM) 1:49. This is approx. (Gallon/Miles) 1: 115.
With a tank capacity of 30 liters/ 7,9 Gallon the radius of the car is actually +900 miles. But I doubt these 2 airhead testers understand any of the above.

Yes, of course BMW i8 is a plug-in hybrid. Perhaps I can agree that it’s not entirely a fair comparison. BMW i8 is superior on design and for long no-hassle trips. Both are great in their own way.

I’d shag Flower-dress for 15 miles in the ‘something called a backseat’ and make Black-pants watch us on the rear-view mirror. Now THAT test drive would end in a crash!

Really wasted my time to watch this. They’re better test & review dildos , so they HAVE to scream all the time.

Did they actually get paid for that? Imagine the male equivalents of these women, being paid to work, for anyone anywhere. It would not happen. The vagina is all these two will ever need to suceed.
