2020 has been a challenging year for the consumer electronics industry. The cancellation of almost every trade show made it much harder for manufacturers to demonstrate new products, and next to impossible for consumers to experience anything new. CES 2021 is going to be a virtual experience; we’re not entirely sure how effective that is going to be when it comes to demonstrating new 4K and 8K televisions, projectors, soundbars, and audio/video components – which has forced us to double-down on product reviews and features.
