Hi there,
Many thanks for the prompt response I will send donation to your Paypal address.
However when I go to put code it tells me to wait, I assumed this would go off after a couple of hours but it has been there since yesterday. Any ideas

Leave your radio switched ON without interruption until the display resets

This can take an hour or longer

Hi There,
Thank you for the code and the advice about getting over the 'WAIT' error code. I have left car on for nearly 2 hours today but it refuses to re-set and sits with the 'WAIT' message ever present. Is their any other way of re-setting it. I assume if I disconnected and reconnected it would remain in the same state.?

Leave it for switched ON longer ....without interruption

If it still doesn't reset then this is unusual.

It may have had far too many wrong codes entered previously so it is now fully locked.

If so then it will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service to be reset

Normally after two hours it should reset
But since it didn't,
tried to leave the radio all night completely disconnected by removing all the connectors
And reconnect it the next day and leave it for 2 hours or even a lot more until it asks you for the code.
It may have had far too many wrong codes entered.

Hi Guys,
Many thanks for the suggestions, I will try the different options you suggest. When you state leave it on for 2+ hours I assume you mean the ignition on and radio in on mode. This is what I have done but just checking!
Regards,
Marc
