It is basically a Ghibli Studio movie, but it enhanced my interest in Japanese cultures. According to a few people, the movie is based on true Japanese beliefs. After this movie, I watched several Ghibli movies to explore more about their cultures. I noticed we don't have enough knowledge about Japanese history, culture and language. Even we don't know that Japan is an English word and local Japanese don't use it. Yes, they use Nippon for their country and you can read more about this from here. Though I have watched many animated movies and a few romantic ones but now, I am willing to watch Japanese movies that explain Japan's history. It would be great if you share any documentary which shares all facts with viewers. Waiting for your suggestions. |
