INSTRUCTIONS

1) Connect your RS232 Cable(straight thru not null modem) from your Multi-Star to your computers comport.
1) Conecta tu RS232 Cable ( straight through ,no Null Modem) de tu multistar reciver a tu PC port.
EN ESTO TENGO UNA DUDA LOS DIGI8WAVE Y SUS CLONES USAN EL NULL MODEM CABLE.PERO SI NO ES UNO ES EL OTRO.

2) Make sure your Multi-Star is off and that you see nothing on the front of your
2) Asegurate de4 que tu Multistar reciver esta apagado y que no ves nada en el display de enfrente
de tu Multistar reciver.

3) Click on the Mnp.exe Icon.
3) Click en el Mnp.exe Icon( es el loader para la conversion ,viene junto con el paquete)

4) You will see the program below. CLICK “Update program Now!”
4) Tu veras abajo en el programa. Click donde dice;( Update program Now!)

Option No.1 X-8500_041202_235f_VeM This will over write and convert your Multi-Star into a PANSAT 2500A
Opcion # 1 .X-8500_041202_235f_VeM. Este file te convertira tu Multistars en un Pansat2500a( para remotos originales de pansat)

Optiom No. 2 Al7bar Ultra 247 120204 keys This will over rite and convert your Multistar into a Fortec LIFETIME ULTRA 
Opcio # 2. Al7bar Ultra 247 120204 Keys Este file te convertira tu Mul;tistar en un Fortec Lifetime Ultra.
remotos para flu.( esto de los remotos es mi opinion, pero por experiencia se que si lo convierto  a Flu, usare remoto flu.
y a pansat 2500a ,usare pansat2500a original remoto.

5) Browse and Select  file you wish to load to your Multi-star receiver(optio 1 or Optiomn 2).
and click on the “Open” button or double click on it.
5) Busca el file y selecciona el que deseas usar para download en tu Multistar reciver(opcion 1 o 2)
y click en el open boton  o click 2 veces en el file( has como lo ha*ces usualmente con otros files para load.)

6) Quickly turn power on and the unit will load up the new software. 
DO NOT INTERRUPT THE PROCESS. Wait until your receiver powers
it self up or you will damage your unit!
6)Rapidamente enciende tu reciver y este podra load el nuevo software (file)(esto se download como los VS 
se click en el loader y despues se enciende el reciver)
NO INTERRUMPAS EL PROCESO .Espera hasta que el reciver se reboot por el mismo o danaras tu reciver.


NOW YOUR RECEiVER IS A PANSAT 2500A if you chose Option No.1 or a FORTEC LIFETIME ULTRA if you chose Option 2.
AHORA TU RECIVER ES UN PANSAT2500A O UN FORTEC LIFETIME ULTRA DEPENDIENDO EN LA OPCION QUE ESCOJISTES.



IMPORTANT . YOU NEED TO SET DEFAULT KEYS and check tha key cobe function is ON.
Importante. TU NECESITAS REVISAR QUE EL KEY CODE ESTA ON Y PRESS EN LAS DEFAULT KEYS(como se ha*ce para el A/R)

PANSAT  
1- Check key Code Function: MENU-Scroll to parental control-OK-Scroll to second PIN-enter 0000- check if Key EMU function is ON, if OFF-scroll down-then right arrow to ON,then exit, exit, exit. If ON go to step 2
1-Revisa key code funcion : Menu-ve a      parental control-Ok Ve a  segundo pin  entra   0000- revisa si key EMU funcion esta en ON, si esta Off, ve abajo entonces cambialo a ON, y press exit ,exit.si esta ON ve 
a paso 2,,,,,

2- SET DEFAULT KEYS: MENU-Scroll to parental control-OK-Scroll to second PIN-enter 0000- Scroll to Set Default Keys-Press OK- exit-exit-exit
2-SET DEFAULT KEYS ;PRESS MENU- VE A PARENTAL CONTROL PRESS OK VE A SEGUNDO PIN ENTRA OOOO Y PRESS EN DEFAIULT KEYS. BLA BLA....SABIDO POR TODOS.

FORTEC
1- Check key Code Function: MENU- Right Arrow three times-Scroll to code -OK-enter 1668- check if KeyCode Funtion is ON, if OFF-scroll down-then right arrow to ON, exit, exit, exit. If ON go to step 2.
2- SET DEFAULT KEYS:  MENU- Right Arrow three times-Scroll to code -OK-enter 1668-Scroll to Set Default Keys-Press OK- Then exit -exit -exit 
EN FORTEC LO QUE CAMBIA ES EL CODE , ESTE ES 1668....LO DEMAS ES IGUAL..

DESPUES SIGUE LO NORMAL ANTENA SETUP ,SETTINGS ETC......
DESPUES CONTINUA CON LOAD UNA LISTA DE CANALES O HACERLE EL SCAN A LOS SAT


dESPUES DE HACER TODO ESTO TU PUEDES USAR LOS PANSAT2500A LOADER O FLU LOADER.
9 ESTO ES DE MI PARTE, TODAVIA NO HE HECHO ESTO, PERO COMO AHORA SEGUN ESTO YA TENGO UN PANSAT2500A O UN FLU
TENDRE QUE ponerle el bin 294t y despues hacerle la conversion normal de cualquier pansat2500a
o clones de este reciver para convertirlo en un convrertido a 2700a y me podre quedar con B-75 o PUFF bines
dependiendo  del cliente.( este es mi proyecto con un clone del digi7000.        
Now you need to go to INSTALLATION MENU and ANTENNA SET UP and change setting that correspond to your LNBs and Switches. Then scan your sats OR LOAD a premade channel list with gtool (check your antenna setting)
