I have had the Panasonic TH42PX50U for about a month now. I just noticed that two pixels that are diagonal to each other are red all the time. I'm not sure if was always always there. It is right in the center of the panel. I have heard of dead pixels on LCD's but not Plasmas. Is this something I should worry about and maybe bring it back to the store?
The new TH-42PX6OU will be out in March or April. What do you think my chances are for me to get an exchange for the new model if I wait untill then to tell them. This TV is only a month old and Panasonic gives two years on the display. Has anyone been through this?
You shouldnt play games due to certain 30 day or 90 day vendor return policies. All Panasonic plasmas of your model are sold or spoken for already BTW. So you are likely to get a newer model anyway. Only accept a truely new display in exchange, not a repaired one. Capiche?
