hello please i need help now if i buy delphi dd42 that has a broken screen can i put the screen from one that has what i think is a good screen it powers up for 1 second with a menu then turns off or maybe swap what is broken on the one with a good screen

Have a DD42 left in fixed in a house we've bought and it's missing a remote (it's stuck on the zoom setting so you cannot see the Satellite menus). Any spare handsets anywhere or do you know where I can get one? Unit appears to work but has an intermitent flickering screen; maybe cured by warming it up?
