When I went to buy the HDMI-to-HDMI cable, I was dismayed at the $$$$ is cost. However, after searching for a while I found a site http://www.monoprice.com/products/subdepartment.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10231 that is selling 6ft gold-plated ones for $10.90. This is orders of magnitude cheaper than the other places I've seen. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with monoprice's cables. I never could figure out why DVI and HDMI cables are so expensive and for short distance I can't see why more expensive cables are necessary. We are talking about a digital cable, not a analog. If the 1's and 0's get there, there should be no difference. Anyone have any insight on monoPrice's cables? |
