I'm somewhat of a noobie so don't laugh but... I remeber a so called bullet buster that was once used (a while ago) to block the cable compnay's signals that turned off a cable box. They were basically surge protectors. Would these work on digital cable boxes such as the motorola dct2244? If it were possible for a bullet blocker to be used in conjunction with one of those digital cable filters would it block signals from both directions? If so it would seem that the cable would be free. All you'd need would be a cable box that had been previously activated.

Bullet busters are a myth. (ha ha) They are actually a lightning arrestor and have nothing to do with the satellite or cable company signals. They sell for about $2 from distributors of satellite equipment. Please don't waste your money.
