alrighty then first off i need some links and stuff about box / port planning

my box isn't hitting the lows like i want it to so i'm thinking of just building another box. it hits highest at around 38-39 hz.. i want it lower.. was thinking about tuning it 32hz

never built a box before. heres my plan:

i guess all i'm asking is how to go about making this what sh!t will i need. also how many cuft is this box?

i still don't know the xmax.. or what it is.. it isnt listed on pioneers website

i have a TS-W3004SPL pioneer premier. like the picture above, that is the amount of room i have to work with, and i prefer the port / sub facing up.

no clue, never built a box before. there are people on here that know all about this stuff tho... just bump this thread for a day or 2 and you should get some solid advice. you should post exactly what kind of equipment (sub amp etc.) you plan on using.

got a question jessie. have you heard your sub hit low or is that the first box you put it in?

the pioneer subs are known for getting loud at higher frequencies. they don't get low at all. i had that sub in a sealed box and still didn't hit the low.

i haven't heard it hit really low, i just know that 30hz sounds like crap with subsonic filter down. you got aim chad?
