Post Number: 500 Registered: Sep-05 | it means your amp is overheating..... you need to turn your Bass boost all the way down.. and match your gain settings to your Amps gain settings...... your "bass controls" being all the way up is destroying your subs... and you r amp |
Gold Member Username: TjmutlowPost Number: 2180 Registered: Sep-05 | depending on the kenwood amp, you probably have the ohm load to low, with those subs, you can either run 1 0r 4 ohm stereo, or 1/2 or 2 ohm or 8 ohm bridged(or mono if monblock amp). |

Then make sure to match your gain on your amp to your cd player. The gain on the amp is not a volume knob, if thats what you were using it for. And put the bass boost on around 9 dB, not 18dB. |
