I want to recheck with you people so I dont blow my stuff up. I have one (1) Image Dynamics IDMAX12D2 V.3 http://www.imagedynamicsusa.com/tech_page.php?name=IDMAX12D2%20V.3&type=sub&id=i dmax My amplifier is a Crossfire vr1000D http://www.crossfirecaraudio.com/images/Amplifiers/CLASS-AB/VR%20Manual.pdf The amps output is 1000w RMS x 1 The subs recommended power rating is 1000w RMS, but is this per voice coil or 500w per voice coil? How do you hook it up safely then? As I remember I hook the dual 2 ohm voice coils up in paralell to yield a 1 ohm load on the amp. This sound good? Thanks, Eric |
