ok, i'm not very console savy and im ready to pull out my hair. my roommate is running his ps3 on a hdmi plug to his sound system. when i try to plug in my xbox I get wavy lines. people tell me to go to setting in my xbox and change things around but with a wavy screen i can't get there. the xbox has been reset so when i start it i know it goes to the time and date screen but dont know how to bypass it and get on with the settings..flying blind here...will appreciate all the help i can get
