Hi, all. Since upgrading to Windows 10 (from Windows 7), my wife's Dell Inspiron 1720 laptop is regularly getting this blue-screen error:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (netwlv64.sys)

After a little bit of research, I've come to the conclusion that her wireless card needs to be upgraded. I have no idea how to do this on a laptop, and I don't know what card to buy. I appreciate any advice regarding my initial diagnosis or how to navigate the purchase and replacement. Thanks!

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_OR_EQUAL error is the most commonly encountered blue screen error code by Windows users. It is thrown when one of the drivers on your computer attempts to access a memory location while the OS is using the same location. The normal troubleshooting method for this error code is to identify new software or hardware that has been installed or upgraded on your computer and remove it or regress to a previous version of the driver.
